Average hours & Overtime

Regular hours and overtime rates of pay are set out in employment contracts or collective agreements. The stipulated working hours are 40 hours per week (5 days) excluding lunch break.

Wages and salaries

There is a mandated minimum wage of 32 218 FCFA (US$ 58.40) per month.

Paid Leave

After 12 months in service, employees are entitled to one full month of holidays.
Employees have the right to take 10 paid off for exceptional reasons agreed by the employer

Expats, Visas, & Work Permits

Employers are responsible for obtaining work visa on the working contract.

Termination Notice

Notice period depends on the contractual agreement but ranges from 1 week to 3 month.
